My name is Grzegorz Kulig. In 2000 I graduated from art school and became a professional wood-carver. Then in 2001 I made my first helmet, but at this time it was just my hobby. Over the past few years there has been a significant evolution in my armouring skills and craftsmanship. Now making armour is a real great passion of mine and it has also become my profession. I consider myself a very lucky guy, as I can now join these two things together. I am continually learning new armouring techniques, because I believe in continual personal development and growth. I always search for new challenges and love making new pieces. Experimenting in making new pieces allows me to learn more and more about historical armouring techniques.

Our clothing can be machine stitched or, if preferred, hand stitched to achieve that truly authentic look. The fabrics used can be machine woven or hand woven depending on your budget and taste.

At Medieval Market website we offer you a large choice of articles related to medieval reenactment. We are trying our best to make our assortment high quality and essentially reliable. That's why we cooperate with high class craftsmen who turned their fascination in middle ages into lifestyle.

To assure historical accordance of our articles we base on studies of historical sources (such as well preserved medieval finds), and when they're not available (none or little examples) we use illustrations, paintings and literature from the proper period.

Our offer (which we are going to increase) consists of medieval clothing for men and women, supplementary accessories and medieval furniture (in progress). If you can't find what you are looking for, don't give up, write to us! We are not afraid of special orders or challenges :)

Machine-sewn clothes with hand-sewn trimmings are in our standard offer, so all the machine seams are on the inside and are not visible. On request garments may be entirely hand-sewn (what we recommend), in such case, price usually doubles (but to get to know the exact price please write to us).
